Dryad Global has issued a Security Notice following an incident report of a chemical tanker being boarded 50nautical miles NE of Fujairah, in the Gulf of Oman

The tanker was at anchor, at 25° 41’N 056°59’E – 50nm NE Fujairah / 47nm NW Iranian Port of Bandar e-Jask.

The Hong Kong-flagged vessel is reported to have been boarded by armed men whilst at anchor.

The vessel was taken to Iranian waters and has since been released and is now under the control of the vessel master.
